Finland is Europe’s Eight Largest Country!


Finland might seem tiny with a population of just over 5 million. But did you know that this sparsely populated country is actually quite large. Finland’s land area is 338,440 km² or 131,991 square miles. This makes Finland the eight largest country in Europe.

Finland is also long. The greatest width is 542 km (336 miles) but the length is 1,157 km (717 miles).
