How to Say Goodbye in Finnish?

Now it’s time to learn how to say goodbye in Finnish.

There are many words which you can use. The most formal way to say goodbye is “näkemiin”. But if you say bye to a friend or a family, you could just say “heippa”, “moikka” or “moi moi”.

There are also other words you an use depending on the situation. For example “nähdään” (=see you) if you are planning to meet again, or “hyvää yötä ” (=good night) if it’s evening already.
